Pope County Community Expo
Little Artists Contest Official Rules
Eligibility:
The contest is open to children between the ages of 3 and 12 at the time of creating the art. Participants must submit artwork depicting their favorite place in Pope County.
How to Enter:
Artwork may be drawn, colored, or painted using any materials.
Entries must be submitted via email to chamber@glenwoodlakesarea.org or mailed/dropped off at the Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center located at 7 1st Street NW, Glenwood, MN 56334. All entries must include the artist’s full name, age, and a parent or guardian’s contact information.
The deadline for submission is Friday, March 28, 2025, at 12:00 noon.
Judging and Display:
All entries will be displayed at the Pope County Community Expo on March 29, 2025, and on the Expo’s website and Facebook page.
The winning entry will be selected via a random drawing from all submissions.
Prizes:
One (1) winner will receive $100 in Minnewaska Dollars, to be drawn on Monday, March 31, 2025.
Entry Guidelines:
Each participant may submit only one (1) entry.
Artwork must be original and created by the participant. Plagiarized or copied work will not be accepted. The contest organizers reserve the right to reject any inappropriate or offensive entries.
Consent:
By submitting an entry, participants and their guardians agree to allow the Pope County Community Expo to display the artwork on social media and the Expo’s website for promotional purposes.
General Rules:
No purchase necessary to enter.
The contest is void where prohibited by law.
Any disputes regarding the contest will be resolved at the discretion of the event organizers.
